NBI, Iraq started its journey as a private corporate bank in 2010 and has used the Temenos Platform since then to give it the competitive edge that it needs to improve and grow its business. The bank has now grown its network to seven branches across Iraq and serves 6000+ customers with a combined portfolio of USD 500 million.
This project was signed by the bank to transition to the latest Temenos Transact Upgrade, along with additional modules that the business required like CRM and Insight Business intelligence. The upgrade was completed early in less than 5.5 months and within budget despite the uncertain and sensitive situation in Iraq and the VISA issues. Using a blend of on-site project leadership and off-shore development skill, NdcTech delivered the upgrade for integration testing and acceptance testing one week ahead of schedule, resulting in an early go-live for NBI.
The latest release of Temenos Transact has enabled the bank to significantly improve the speed of transaction processing, create more secure interfacing channels, decrease maintenance costs and ensure the continuous operations of the system. With the Upgrade from R10 to R13, Bank is now able to run CRM module that will create improved client-bank relationship. With the Insight module as a part of Upgrade project, Bank can use it to improve customer service and support growth in right areas.
